Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 2026 · Obelisk is operated by RadWiz Industries (“we”, “us”).
This template describes our current practices in plain language. It is not legal advice; please have it reviewed by a qualified attorney before relying on it, and update the company details to your registered legal entity.
1. Who we are
Obelisk is an SEO platform that scans websites, scores their SEO health, connects Google data, and produces a prioritized roadmap of fixes. This policy covers obeliskseo.com, the free scan tool, and the Obelisk application.
2. Information we collect
- Account data — your name and email when you create an account or contact us.
- Website data — the URLs you scan or connect, and the publicly available HTML of pages we crawl to audit them.
- Site credentials — for WordPress sites you connect, an application password, which is encrypted at rest (AES-256-GCM) and used only to read content and save drafts.
- Google account data — see section 3.
- Payment data — handled by Stripe; we do not see or store your card number (see section 6).
- Usage & device data — basic analytics (pages viewed, general location, device/browser) via Google Analytics, and standard server logs.
- Support messages — anything you send us through a form or by email.
3. Google user data
If you connect Google, we request read-only access to Google Search Console, Google Analytics (GA4) so we can fold your real search and traffic data into your score and roadmap. We access only the accounts and properties you choose.
Obelisk's use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. We do not sell Google user data, do not use it for advertising, and do not transfer it except as needed to provide the service or as required by law. You can disconnect Google at any time from Settings, and revoke access from your Google account permissions.
4. How we use your data
- Run scans and audits, compute scores, and generate recommendations.
- Provide, maintain, secure, and improve the service.
- Process subscriptions and billing.
- Respond to support and sales requests.
- Send service-related messages (we do not sell your data).
5. How we share data (subprocessors)
We share data only with providers that help us run Obelisk:
- Google — Search Console and Analytics APIs (data you connect).
- Stripe — payment processing.
- Resend — transactional and notification email.
- Hosting & network — our server host and Cloudflare (delivery, security).
We may also disclose data to comply with the law or to protect our rights and users.
6. Payments
Subscriptions are billed through Stripe. Payment card details are entered on Stripe and handled by Stripe under their own terms and privacy policy; Obelisk receives only limited billing metadata (such as plan, status, and the last four digits) and never stores full card numbers.
7. Cookies & analytics
We use essential cookies to keep you signed in, and Google Analytics to understand usage. You can block cookies in your browser; some features may not work without the essential ones.
8. Data retention
We keep account and site data for as long as your account is active, and for a reasonable period afterward to meet legal, billing, and security obligations. You can ask us to delete your data (section 10).
9. Security
Data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS) and sensitive secrets — including WordPress application passwords and Google tokens — are encrypted at rest. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect your information.
10. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise them, email [email protected].
11. Children
Obelisk is a business tool and is not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect their data.
12. International
Your data may be processed in the United States and other countries where our providers operate.
13. Changes
We may update this policy; we will revise the date above and, for material changes, notify you.
